The impact that WW2 had on the world gave the leaders the realisation that all humans are not equally treated and respected, the genocide that led to the deaths of 6 million innocent Jews that faced discrimination in the holocaust, and the additional 17 million others who died, made the governments realise that the world had to settle for peace and prevent war, consequently the United Nations was created in June 1945. Eleanor Roosevelt, the first lady of the United States (1933-45) gathered the 50 state members to devise a list of human rights that would apply to all humans, henceforth the 30 UDHR was introduced to the world the the 10th of December 1948
I have gone over the 30 articles and the ones that stand to me the most are:

I am seeking inspiration for my UDHR poster, and of the artists that I’ve been introduced to is Weingart, I really like the minimalistic and simplistic approach he takes when it comes to design

This is a typographical poster for an exhibition of Present Day Photography by Walter Dexel, who was an art historian and director at a museum in Braunschweig, Germany during the Second World War, Walter was a German painter, commercial graphic designer, and transportation planner. I came across this poster during my research and it really caught my eye

These are some of the sketches that I came up with when I started putting what I had in mind on paper, after these sketches I proceeded to designing the posters on figma
I showcased the work on the left to my class and the feedback I got from my tutor was very helpful, my tutor suggested that I make the text slant just like the slanted coloured pillars in the poster, I did as I was told and in my opinion it looks better with the slanted text, it’s well uniformed, I decided to keep horizontal because then the poster would have something normal about it and also because it simply looks best this way
