The image below showcases initial sketches that I did for my AR project. Prior to starting these sketches I just sat there and stared at the paper for a while because I didn't know what to do as my idea doesn't involve the implementation of any UI elements, nevertheless once the pencil touched the paper I enjoyed doing the sketches and more ideas flowed in as I proceeded.

Since I wanted to create a non-obtrusive UI I took a different approach in the next stage of my sketches by making sure that there wasn't much covering the screen. The last 3 sketches at the bottom row were sketches done during my digital development phase; they are sketches of new ideas that I had whilst I was building my smart home AR.
