This week we had another lecture with Ronan; he talked us through anorher software called Lottielab that is used to make some cool prototypes and animations. He said that most animations we see on some website were done by using Lottielab.
Upon using Lottielab in class I realised how much smoother it was, although I must say Figma is the way to go if you simply want to show how something is going to working without caring too much about the smoothness of the animation.
The first exercise we did was creating a circle that had another coloured circle placed on top of it. We manipulated the movement and velocity of this circle by the length and offset of it.
The second exercise was more complex but I was able to keep up with the instructions that were given. I think I enjoyed this one more because of how challenging it was, there were a lot of elements that had to be manipulated in this and this caused me eustress.
This whole animation session we had today really reminded me of Adobe AfterEffects, and I think the knowledge that I carried from that is what helped me keep up with the work.
