In today’s lecture I finally learned the difference between a wordmark and a logomark, essentially a wordmark is composed of manipulated words and logo mark is mainly composed of imagery, so for example when creating a logomark you’d find inspirations and research the brand you’re making he logo for in order to have a better understanding, this would then help you create the perfect logo/image to represent the brand. The same thing is done when creating a wordmark, researching a brand is crucial if you want to create a wordmark or logomark for a brand.
Today’s lecture was a bit different than usual, we started by having some fun creating an animal of our choice by using geometric shapes such as the square, a triangle and a circle, we were allowed to manipulate these these
